Fun-tech: Distributed Exclusively by Hotheli

Sacramento: September 1, 2007: Hotheli, a United States distributor of model helicopter products, accessories and support products, today announced an exclusive agreement for the distribution of high performance model helicopter products in the U.S. with Fun-tech, Ltd., a leading manufacturer of world-class model helicopter products in Japan. The two-year agreement will give Hotheli exclusive rights to distribute carbon fiber 600mm and 690mm blades, and fiberglass 600mm and 690mm blades, and internal combustion glow-powered engine mufflers appropriate for .50 and .90 sized powerplants.

Funtech carbon fiber blades are manufactured around a foam core with weighted tips, and balanced at the factory for out-of-the-box, 3D performance. They will be available in both 600mm, appropriate for .50 sized glow powered models, or 600 sized electric models, and 690mm sizes, appropriate for .90 sized glow, or 700 sized electric models. The 600mm blades have a 58mm chord, with 12mm root thickness and a 4mm bolt hole. The 690mm blades will have a 61mm (inside)-62mm (outside) chord, with 4 or 5mm bolt hole. Each set includes brass inserts and spacers to install on up to 14mm blade grips.

After the U.S. introduction of the 3D carbon fiber blades, the fiberglass variants will be introduced. These blades offer performance on par with many carbon fiber blades currently in the U.S. market at a fraction of the cost. These blades will offer the sport and intermediate 3D pilot a very cost effective alternative to the more costly carbon fiber layups.

Fun-tech also manufactures world-class mufflers for high-performance internal combustion model engines. Hotheli will distribute both the .50 sized muffler and the .90 sized muffler beginning in the first quarter of 2008.
